Beccie trained as an actor at LIPA and graduated in 2021.
Credits whilst training include the old woman in Yerma, Laertes in Hamlet and a company member in the riotous Revolt. She Said. Revolt Again by Alice Birch.
Since graduating she's worked with Stute theatre on their production of I Am No Bird, which looked at the Bronte sisters artistic legacy and challenges faced for female creatives today.
She is an audio describer for Hear The Picture and recently worked with them on the Olivier Award winning 'Standing At The Sky's Edge' both in Sheffield and London which has been a career highlight thus far.
Alex and Maggie Go Ghost Hunting will be her theatrical debut.
What is she most excited about for this project?
Getting to play the absolute firecracker that is Maggie but also working with one of her oldest and dearest friends on a fun, rich and complex story...OH, and trying to catch some spooky ghosts...obviously. 👻👻👻

Joe Facer as Alex
Joe trained at Drama Centre London as an actor and this year has been involved in a one man performance of A Christmas Carol called Scrooge: A Modern Retelling of A Christmas Carol (directed by our wonderful movement director Ewa Emini @ewa.emini). He has also played the role of Isaac in the upcoming short film ‘Marching On Together’, a collaboration piece with our good friends over at Divided Culture (@dividedcultureco).

Adam Sandy - Director & Co-Writer
Director and one of the founding members of To The Ocean, Adam is drawn to stories that tackle the minutiae of life and the tiny dramas that make up a human being. Since forming To The Ocean with Joe Facer he has embraced theatre as a storytelling medium and directed 3 short plays, one full length rehearsed reading on the west end in London and his latest project is Alex & Maggie Go Ghost Hunting. This will be Adam’s directorial debut for a full length play and the first for a week long run too.
This story has become the pinnacle of To The Ocean’s work so far and combines the love of naturalistic, emotion driven stories with the vastness of the subject matter of what ghosts mean to individuals. Life, death and spooky goings on are arriving at The Space this Halloween, we hope Alex is brave enough to confront whatever may come.

Ewa Emini - Movement Director
Ewa, a London-based Director/Movement director and teacher, expertly integrates techniques from various art forms to craft authentic stage characters and immersive theatrical experiences. Certified as a Public Health specialist and Movement: Director and Teacher from RCSSD, London, Ewa infuses her work with a unique holistic approach to body and movement. Her methodology seamlessly weaves acting methods, including Grotowski and Stanislavski's Technique, dance styles such as Contact Improvisation and Contemporary Dance, an array of movement practices, BMC somatic techniques, and site-specific performance, which She enhances with a visual arts and an experimental approach to lighting and props. She engages in diverse projects like also creates own work, which aimed at expressing untold stories of human experience through deeply personal character journeys.
